Salaries

We use market data and bench-marking with other employers to ensure we offer competitive salary packages for our graduates and Phd employees. Our flexible rewards package, AZ Advantage' means that your actual take home salary in cash will depend on your choice of benefits, so the figures below are a rough guideline only based on taking an 'average' number of extra benefits.

Placements -   circa £14,500
Graduates -   circa £22k+
Phd -   circa £29k+

Relocation assistance

We believe in the importance of helping you settle into life at AstraZeneca with the minimum of stress and disruption. We also appreciate that moving to a new area can be costly.

We offer all our graduates who are recruited via our graduate/Phd recruitment programmes to a full-time position assistance and support with relocation. This 'golden hello' is designed to help with the inevitable expenses associated with moving and includes:

• A £2,500 gross sum paid with salary and subject to tax/national insurance.
• 14 nights in a local hotel including reasonable expenses for meals.
• Relocation support and expertise from AZ and/or our suppliers.
• Survey fee, reasonable legal costs and 1% Stamp Duty paid. (Eligibilty for house purchase costs is subject to AZ business agreement and AZ policy terms & conditions)
